We’re looking for a stellar Exhibits CAD Detailer to join our team. The Exhibit CAD Detailer plays a crucial role in the Design/Engineering Department by creating precise CAD drawings based on 3D exhibit and event environment designs. These drawings are essential for both the installation of exhibits at show sites and the fabrication of individual components, including counters, kiosks, wall panels, and more. Essential Functions

  • Strong technical, organizational and communication skills to develop clear concise drawings for installation & construction

  • Expert knowledge of drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing and manufacturing processes

  • Produce layout plans for display fabrication, general dimensioning, carpet, electrical, hanging signs, data setup, and graphic positioning for booth installation using established drafting standards and scaling practices

  • Specify material, hardware, electrical / lighting specifications and building techniques in accordance with client requirements and Bella standards

  • Annotate drawings with hardware call-outs, finish notes and assembly instructions

  • Complete redline corrections and additions as necessary on drawings following account manager review

  • Represent the company and its products and services professionally in a manner consistent with current marketing direction

What We Are Looking For

  • Technical School Certification and/or degree is preferred

  • 2 years of experience as a production detailer required

  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD and/or Solidworks and modeling in 3D

  • Working experience with Adobe suite of programs

  • Demonstrated aptitude for Design and Structural Mechanics.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with Sales, Project Management, and Production personnel on a daily basis

  • Able to effectively explain and present finished work to all Bella Exhibits + Retail departments

  • Highly disciplined, able and willing to follow a well-organized time management system and possess multi-tasking ability

  • Display excellence in knowledge of production materials and the extent to which these may be utilized in exhibit production

  • Trade Show Experience is a plus

  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours when/as required

This is a full-time salaried position with typical work hours from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.  Additional hours may be necessary during peak season.
